Website's SEO Magic

I was a Plato's example of a prisoner in his Allegory of the Cave when I was trying to help my sister improve her website's visibility and searchability before I saw the "sun" which is SEO.

SEO – short for Search Engine Optimization – is the way of improving a website’s visibility in unpaid (*organic*) search engine results.

I was giving all these complicated advises (sometimes she might have not even understood me) but it was all before I stumbled upon Google Search Console when I was trying to increase my own first ever website about 4 years ago. It guided me so well on how to improve the SEO for my website(s).

With this tool I achieved with my low-visited website (literally me on my phone and my laptop from two different IPs) what she could not achieve in 6 months – top search result when googling website's domain or related name (not direct url access of course 😁).

Such an incredible feeling I had when I realized I can google something I created and it will appear in the top of the search results. It is achieved by the magic of SEO.
