Finding Truce with Your Busy Self

Sometimes, in the midst of all these projects, studies, worries, travels, and the everyday routine, I lose the very needed sight of the beauty in this small world around us.
The colours of nature, the taste of different food, the sound of birds singing – these simple things can make you feel truly alive, if you take the time to notice them deeply.
I notice many people living on the surface, buried in what they call their important routines. I fall into it myself sometimes. But that’s what keeps us from really feeling the moments we’re living through.
This constant stream of news, social media pressure, deadlines, and noise drags us in, head down, like ostriches. And sure, doing meaningful work and chasing impact is super exciting to me – but sometimes, what keeps you going in this busy world is the quiet joy of the little things we overlook just because they’re ordinary (or, did we make them ordinary ourselves?).
Life is beautiful—but you have to be brave enough to stop and look around to see it.
PS: yes, I love philosophy.
